As part of activities marking the ongoing Measles–Rubella Vaccination Campaign, the Bayelsa State Primary Health Care Board, through its Health Promotion Team, recently conducted an extensive Measles–Rubella Vaccination Roadshow to raise awareness and sensitize communities across the state.
The exercise commenced at Swali Main Market and proceeded through Akaba, Ogu, and Ogbogoro, before moving to Azikoro Town and concluding at Agbura communities. During the roadshow, the team engaged traders, residents, parents, guardians, and caregivers, sharing key messages on the importance of timely vaccination of children and wards, and encouraging the uptake of vaccines to protect children and promote a healthier Bayelsa State.
God bless Bayelsa State.
