Bayelsa Commissioner for Information Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Mrs. Ebiuwo Koku- Obiyai, has announced the procurement of State of the Art media equipment for Ministry of Information Orientation and Strategy and State owned NDTV.
The Commissioner announced this while formally handing over the media equipment to the Ministry and State owned Niger Delta Television (NDTV).
The Commissioner while presenting the equipment in her office, Information House, ovom, Yenagoa, noted that the items were to enhance professionalism and efficiency in media industry and charged the staffers to use them judiciously.
The equipment presented includes; Sony video cameras, digital still cameras, tripods, a drone, hard drives, and memory cards.
Responding on behalf of the management of NDTV, the Acting General Manager, Mrs. Enato Isukul-Ayiba-Duba expressed appreciation to the State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri and the Honourable Commissioner for the gesture, promising that the equipment would be efficiently and effectively managed.
She described the arrival of the items as timely and impactful, noting that the Governor has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the media sector as seen in the construction and furnishing of the modern media complex and many more.
She expressed optimism that the newly acquired equipment would significantly improve NDTV’s productivity and the quality of its content, reaffirming the station’s capacity to deliver professional and timely information dissemination to the public.
