The Bayelsa State Primary Healthcare Board (BYSPHCB) in partnership with key global and local stakeholders holds Productive partners forum at the Bayelsa Health Insurance Scheme (BHIS) building, Secretariat Complex in Yenagoa .
In a brief remark, the Executive Secretary, Dr Williams Appah noted that
the meeting brought together representatives from WHO, UNICEF/CHAN, JSI, AFENET, PATH, MSI, CHAI, CMS, DDP, and ZIPLINE to engage in a comprehensive dialogue regarding their vital contributions to the state’s primary healthcare landscape.
He added that beyond reviewing current achievements, the forum focused on “what’s next on the horizon,” outlining strategic goals to further enhance service delivery across communities. This synergy, according to him, underscores a collective commitment to building a more resilient health system.
He noted that progress in public health is a shared responsibility, and it truly happens when work is done together toward a common goal.
